Judy Carter

Judy Carter is a Graduate Gemologist. She graduated from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Santa Monica, CA in 1985. She is also a Certified Bench Jeweler. Judy has been the proud owner of Carter's Jewelry for 24 years. She has had a successful career and also been a loving wife and devoted mother of three beautiful daughters. She has recently retired from the jewelry business and moved with her husband Scott Carter to Thibodaux, LA.

Chae Carter - Sullivan

Chae Carter Sullivan is the oldest daughter of Scott and Judy Carter. She is a Jones Junior College graduate and is currently earnng her Marketing degree at the University of Southern Mississippi. Following graduation she will continue her education and earn her Gemologist degree from Gemological Institute of America just as her mother did. She is married to Aaron Sullivan and has a beautiful one year old Lawson Scott Sullivan. Chae has taken over Carter's Jewelry in the footsteps of her mother Judy Carter. In her career she hopes to do half as well as her mother and is very fortunate to have such an excellent teacher.

Timothy Sims

Timothy Sims is a certified master jeweler, wax carver, and custom jewelry designer. He has been at Carter's Jewelry for over twenty years. He is a professional, talented man with a unique gift in jewelry customizing. He is a 1991 graduate of Jones County Junior College. Tim is the father of two precious girls and enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. He is an artist and is able to utilize his talents with his custom jewelry designing.

Recently I've been seeing this bracelet absolutely everywhere I go. And I must say, its definitely rubbing off me. It is simple yet elegant, something that can be worn from day to night and will never go out of style- definitely a keeper.

This bracelet is called the "Tennis Bracelet." It is said that back in the 1987 US Open, former World No.1, Chris Evert accidentally broke the bracelet and the game was actually interrupted to allow Chris to recover her bracelet. And that is how the name came about. I thought that was pretty interesting. Can't win a match without looking good first.
